At Richland Pet Cremation and Memorials, we offer private and communal pet cremation services to pet parents.  Pet cremation is an increasingly popular choice among pet parents for a number of different reasons. When cremation is chosen, there is no need to bury the pet, which can pose an obstacle for many pet parents who realize they would be forced to leave their pet’s remains behind if they move in the future. Cremation also allows you to keep your pet close forevermore in a beautiful urn or you may choose to scatter the ashes in a place your pet enjoyed in life. The grief you may experience can be profound and many pet parents opt to speak with Raeleen Neary, a certified Pet Loss Professional who is available to provide grief counseling to pet owners.

Private Cremation

A cremation procedure during which only one animal’s body is present in the cremation unit during the cremation process and the cremains are returned to the owners.

Communal Cremation

A cremation procedure where multiple animals are cremated together without any form of separation. These commingled cremated remains are not returned to owners. The cremains are spread on private property overlooking Richland Creek.

Transportation Options

Pets remains can be picked up at your veterinarian’s office.

Home pick-up is available for an additional charge by calling (618) 971-1185 and scheduling an appointment.

You are welcome to bring your pet’s remains to us at no charge by calling (618) 971-1185 and scheduling an appointment.

Pet Loss Grief Counseling

Raeleen Neary, CPLP is a Certified Pet Loss Professional who is available to provide grief counseling to pet parents who are grieving a loss. Please contact us for more information or to schedule an appointment.
